Uganda School Support Project

Education as a Pathway to Hope.

While our primary focus is on refugees settled in the United States, we recognize that many families remain in refugee settlements in Uganda with limited access to education and economic opportunities. Education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and displacement, yet refugee children in Uganda often face barriers to schooling. Our Uganda School Support Project was born from a desire to extend our impact beyond US borders, providing education for refugee children and entrepreneurship opportunities for parents.

Project overview

While focusing on U.S. refugees, we support families still in Uganda through our Uganda School Support Project. This initiative provides education for refugee children and entrepreneurship opportunities for parents, breaking the cycle of poverty for entire families.

Uganda School Support Project — overview

The need

Thousands of refugee children in Uganda lack education due to poverty and displacement. Parents struggle to find sustainable livelihoods, forcing children to work instead of study. Without education, an entire generation risks losing hope for the future.

Our response

  • Free education for refugee children through Mundeke Christian Schools
  • Entrepreneurship training for parents
  • School supplies, uniforms, and meals
  • Seed capital for small businesses
  • Ongoing mentorship and support
