A Faith-Based Organization Uniting Swahili-Speaking Communities
MGM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting and uplifting refugees and immigrants from Eastern Africa—including DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and South Sudan. We serve communities in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad and surrounding counties, addressing the whole person through physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and economic support.
Our approach recognizes that successful integration requires more than basic services—it demands community, cultural connection, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully. Through our programs, we create pathways to self-sufficiency while preserving cultural identity and fostering belonging.
